Caona means gold in multiple languages of native tribes of South American countries such as Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Our name keeps us honest to the roots of when we started the company 15 years ago in Venezuela.

We created Caona because we were tired of the same old expensive jewelry sold by the same big luxury brands. We were tired of seeing incredible artisans fail because of production scale issues. We founded Caona to bring handcrafted jewelry from these artisans to the world and make the shopping experience as accessible as we possibly can.

Caona Designs has been mastering the art of handcrafting jewelry for the last 15 years. Our mission is to bring unique pieces to life with professional design and top semi-precious materials that are also accessible to any budget.

We create women accessories that have been made under design and art guidelines inspired from Traditional Jewelry, starting from the most novel combinations of materials and textures to adding a gem-setting technique on a semi precious stone such as amethyst, peridot, topaz, citrine, garnet and zirconia.

Thanks to today's globalization, we are grateful to count with a network of the best artisans in the handcrafting of jewelry located all around the world and which we manage in an environment where creativity and passion to empower women to express their attributes can truly thrive.

Lifetime warranty

What makes us truly different is our lifetime warranty. If something goes wrong with any of our accessories we will promptly replace it. This includes any manufacturing defects, material fatigue or damage that is not the user's fault.

In an effort to create a portfolio of unique and stylish accessories that are both everlasting and accessible to everyone, we studied the market and realized that the inclusion of material sourcing, heavy-equipment manufacturing and retail stores has jacked up the prices in an industry that is marked by beautiful pieces we often can’t acquire. The bottom line is big luxury accessory companies are paying for all of this on top of retail, but you shouldn't have to. We are here to cut the middle man and democratize handcraft jewelry.

In order to reduce cost for our customers, we became fully integrated in the value chain from sourcing our own materials to selling it online. In addition, we standardized our manufacturing process to include as little machinery as possible and allow the hands of our artisans to do the magic – Here is when it stops being jewelry and it really becomes art to wear.
